EmpowerHR 2025 release notes

We are pleased to present EmpowerHR 2025

What's new

Relief Absence Management System (RAMS) - annualised employees enhancement

EMP-9348

Requested by:  Department of Education, Children and Young People (DECYP)

Information

This feature was previously released in hotfix 2024.2.04 and is now available for public release.

DECYP expanded the scope of managing Annualisation Percentage employees and the effects on the additional weeks registers functionality.

This EmpowerHR enhancement allows DECYP to:

  • define a range of annualisation percentages where previously there was a single percentage, and
  • identify annualised employees, and only allow hours worked requests when adding employees to any of the additional weeks registers where previously this could only be applied to the additional 2 weeks register

This enhancement delivers:

  • a new Annualisation Percentages Admin screen to manage the range of percentages and the registers to which they apply
  • extra information (percentage) on the Annualised Employees register screen
  • ability to apply the Non Payment pay method to all additional weeks registers
  • functionality to manage the Non Payment pay method within all additional weeks requests when an employee is an annualised employee

Waymark requires all payment codes to display the rate on the Pay Calcs report and payslips as employees need to see the rates they are paid at.

With this EmpowerHR enhancement, the pay rate is now stored in the pay data entry table when doing Set Up Termination so the rate now displays on the Payslips and Pay Calcs reports.

All desktop screens with Advanced Search capability.

Some clients find searching takes longer since the introduction of the new search capabilities (ignoring case sensitivity, etc).

We've changed the Advanced Search for desktop screens so the Ignore Case checkbox is no longer selected by default (that is, case sensitivity is not ignored), helping to improve performance.

Information

Here's how the feature works

  • mith brings back Smith
  • smith does not bring back Smith
  • Smit brings back Smith
