We are pleased to present EmpowerHR 2024 Build 3
What's new
Overtime relief and payments request - additional layer of hours worked validation
EMP-8780
Requested internally (Fusion5)
We've added extra security validation for overtime relief and payments requests to check if the hours paid value parsed
with the https request is equal to the originally computed value. This continues our work to remedy even minimal chances of compromise to the system.
Leave request - additional layer to validation for business logic bypass
EMP-8779
Requested internally (Fusion5)
We've added extra security validation for leave requests to check if the calculated amount value parsed
with the https request is equal to the originally computed value. This continues our work to remedy even minimal chances of compromise to the system.

New control table - demographics qualification level
EMP-9122
Requested by: Department of Communities (DoC)
Located at:
Control Tables > Employee > Demographic Qualification Lvl
We have split out qualification levels so demographics has its own control table called Demographic Qualification Lvl.
Any data used (existing data) in the old control table has been copied to the new control table. All your demographics data is still valid.
Formula type changes after running pay calc for non-closed employment
iHelp: 526870
EMP-9303
Requested by: Catholic Education, Diocese of Bathurst (CEDB)
Issues
Located at:
Background Jobs > Payroll Processing > Pay Calculations
The pay calculation run in the Xmas Leave pay period incorrectly changes the formula type from Formula 1 to Formula 2 for some employees who did not have closed Averaged Employments during the school year.
Resolution
The Pay Calculation program now only changes the formula type from Formula 1 to Formula 2 where the Averaged Employment has closed during the school year and no other Averaged Employment is ongoing for the school year. The change to Formula 2 is to calculate a formula value as no current salary exists to enable a Formula 1 calculation for the previously closed employment.
Calculate when an employee's LSL balance becomes due with minimal impact on performance
EMP-9166
Requested by: Department of Communities (DoC)
Located at:
Administration > Agency Management > Installation Options > Display LSL due date on SS Leave Details (bdue)
Administration > Agency Management > Installation Options > Pay Advice Leave Entitlements (advl)
EmpowerHR calculates when LSL becomes due as part of the leave entitlements process run in either the pay gather or pay run.
The latest enhancement significantly improves performance of payroll processing by providing an option to calculate the employee's LSL due date when necessary rather than re-calculating the date every run.

EMP-7772
